Utilizing the process associated with the world-famous Fabergé eggs, Sherry Been’s enameled sculptures are brought to life by the frantic and rhythmic movement of sculpted, folded edges. Shadows of light and dark dappled with unique colors are created during the firing process. It is during this same process that the colors merge in rivers of molten glass that truly are the intricacy of the sculpture.
